Rarely has the saying “an old soul in a young body” been more fitting. Sean “Mack” McDonald from Augusta, Georgia is only in his early twenties, yet he plays with a maturity seldom heard in his peers. With a delightful groove and impeccable sense of timing, he effortlessly moves from vintage R&B to blazing Texas swing, and from gospel to raw jump blues. His debut album *Have Mercy!*, released last year, naturally ended up on many year-end lists. This rising star is leading the new ‘Blues Wave’ and proves that the future of the blues is in very capable hands.
