Boogie Beasts BE/NL Ft. Pablo van der Poel – A Tribute To R.L. Burnside

The Boo­gie Beasts are cel­e­brat­ing their 15^th anniver­sary this year, and it also hap­pens to be exact­ly 100 years since one of their great­est sources of inspi­ra­tion, Amer­i­can blues leg­end R.L. Burn­side, was born. A per­fect occa­sion to launch the transat­lantic col­lab­o­ra­tion ​“Don’t Be So Mean!”. With this trib­ute to Burn­side — and to North Mis­sis­sip­pi Hill Coun­try Blues as a whole — the quar­tet returns to its musi­cal roots. It’s authen­tic, steeped in tra­di­tion, yet at the same time adven­tur­ous and bold­ly uncon­ven­tion­al.

Get ready for a siz­zling, high-ener­gy show, pow­ered by the raw, hyp­not­ic blues that has shaped the Beasts from the very begin­ning. They’ll be joined by DeWolff front­man Pablo van de Poel, who will add a touch of psy­che­delia to the whole affair.
