Fes­ti­val reg­u­lars will imme­di­ate­ly rec­og­nize two famil­iar faces: Pat Faher­ty and Tim Car­man. In 2022, they tore the tent down with GA-20. Now they’re back with their new band to do it all over again.

Canyon Lights was born from a shared love of sev­en­ties rock, tak­ing inspi­ra­tion from the likes of Moun­tain, James Gang and Thin Lizzy. Armed with a wealth of life expe­ri­ence gath­ered along the way, the men head­ed into the stu­dio to breathe new life into that vin­tage sound. The result can be heard on their debut album Breathe Easy. They describe it as a sul­try mix of throw­back rock and swampy Amer­i­cana, with dis­tant echoes of heavy blues. One thing is clear: it’s a com­plete­ly dif­fer­ent kind of reunion, but one that is bound to linger long after the final note.
