King of the World
For more than a decade, King of the World has been delivering top-shelf rhythm & blues. What began as a collaboration between seasoned musicians from acclaimed (inter)national bands has grown into an essential name in the Dutch blues scene. The band exudes craftsmanship and a sheer joy of playing that can be both heard and felt.
The quartet effortlessly blurs the lines between funk, soul and rhythm ’n’ blues, something they underline on their latest album Get Up, Get Down & Get With It. And since the arrival of guitar virtuoso Stef Delbaere and drummer/singer Marlon Pichel — also known from his own band — they sound fresher, more energetic and bolder than ever.
