The Juke Joints, the blues rock mae­stros from the dutch province Zee­land, have been ignit­ing stages both nation­al­ly and inter­na­tion­al­ly for over four decades. Their dis­tinc­tive fusion of Chica­go blues, blues rock, rock ​‘n’ roll, and zyde­co cre­ates a musi­cal expe­ri­ence that is at times grit­ty and dirty, at times sub­dued, but always infused with pas­sion and con­vic­tion.

In recog­ni­tion of their tal­ent, The Juke Joints received the Dutch Blues Foun­da­tion Award for Best Dutch Blues Band in both 2012 and 2016, and their acclaim is well-deserved. The band, led by Peter Kempe (vocals/​drums/​mandolin), John ​“Son­ny Boy” van der Broek (harmonica/​accordion), Michel ​“Boo­gie Mike” Staat (gui­tar), and Derk Kor­per­shoek (bass gui­tar), guar­an­tees an unfor­get­table par­ty with their infec­tious ener­gy and musi­cal prowess.
