Dur­ing their brief exis­tence in the 1990s, The Loved Ones became an absolute crowd favorite, praised for their bound­less ener­gy and mem­o­rable live per­for­mances. After a long peri­od of silence, they are now back in their orig­i­nal line-up.

This quar­tet draws on a wide array of influ­ences: from rebel­lious ​’60s garage rock to deep South­ern soul, from steam­ing Chica­go blues to swing­ing New Orleans R&B. Yet they are much more than the sum of these parts. The Loved Ones have a dis­tinc­tive, sea­soned, and authen­tic sound, occa­sion­al­ly recall­ing the ear­ly work of The Yard­birds — vin­tage, yet mod­ern.
