Open brief aan­gaande Moulin Blues 2020

Beste bezoek­er, beste blues­liefheb­ber,

Helaas moeten wij u melden dat, door de prob­lematiek ron­dom het coro­n­avirus en de daar­bij horende maa­trege­len, Moulin Blues 2020 geen door­gang kan vin­den.

Dit is ongetwi­jfeld een teleurstelling, voor u maar ook voor ons. Echter staat de vei­ligheid en gezond­heid van de bezoek­ers en de samen­lev­ing voorop en con­formeren wij ons aan de regels zoals die in deze cri­sis­si­t­u­atie aan ons opgelegd wor­den.

Wat betekent dit nu con­creet?

Er zal in 2020 voor het eerst in het bestaan van Moulin Blues een jaar overges­la­gen wor­den. Aangezien het verzetten naar een andere datum in dit jaar, geen optie is gebleken.

Een grote groep mensen heeft inmid­dels al een tick­et voor Moulin Blues 2020 bemachtigd, zij ont­van­gen spoedig een e‑mail voor de verdere afhan­del­ing. Wij willen dit net­jes oplossen maar willen ook een beroep op u doen:

U kunt het Moulin Blues Fes­ti­val enorm helpen door uw ticket(s) om te lat­en zetten naar een tick­et voor Moulin Blues 2021. Hier­voor hoeft u hele­maal niets te doen, het huidi­ge tick­et biedt toe­gang tot Moulin Blues 2021. Hier­mee helpt u niet alleen de toekomst van Moulin Blues, maar ook de blues scene en in het bij­zon­der de blue­sar­ti­esten die voor hun inkom­sten o.a. afhanke­lijk zijn van fes­ti­vals als Moulin Blues.

Aan de andere kant bieden wij u de optie om het aankoopbedrag van de tick­ets (excl. ser­vicekosten) terugge­boekt te kri­j­gen.

Moulin Blues wordt 100% op vri­jwillige basis geor­gan­iseerd. Wij zijn een sticht­ing waar verder geen (groot) even­e­menten­bu­reau bij betrokken is. Dat wil zeggen dat het fes­ti­val geor­gan­iseerd wordt op basis van passie en liefheb­ber­ij en er geen win­stoog­merk is. Het (bli­jven) organ­is­eren van een boeiend en gezel­lig blues­fes­ti­val is wat ons dri­jft.

We hopen dat u met ons mee wil denken. We gaan samen voor een prachtige edi­tie op 7 en 8 mei in 2021!

Regard­ing Moulin Blues 2020

Dear vis­i­tor, dear blues lover,

Unfor­tu­nate­ly we have to inform you that, due to the coro­n­avirus prob­lems, Moulin Blues 2020 will not take place. The deci­sion was made in con­sul­ta­tion with (local) author­i­ties.

This is a big dis­ap­point­ment, both for you and also for us. How­ev­er, the safe­ty and health of our vis­i­tors and com­mu­ni­ty is far more impor­tant to us.

What does this mean?

This means that in 2020, for the first time in the exis­tence of Moulin Blues, we need to skip the fes­ti­val for a year. Resched­ul­ing to anoth­er date lat­er this year, is no option.

A large group of peo­ple has already bought a tick­et for Moulin Blues 2020, they will receive a sep­a­rate email from us. We want to solve this in the best pos­si­ble way, but also want to make an appeal on you.

You can help the Moulin Blues Fes­ti­val tremen­dous­ly by keep­ing your ticket(s) and trans­fer them into a tick­et for Moulin Blues 2021. You don’t have to do any­thing for this, your tick­ets will be auto­mat­i­cal­ly con­vert­ed to tick­ets for Moulin Blues 2021. This will not only secure the future of Moulin Blues, but will also help the blues scene and in par­tic­u­lar the blues artists who depend on fes­ti­vals such as Moulin Blues for their income.

On the oth­er hand we can offer you a refund on the pur­chase amount of the tick­ets (exclud­ing ser­vice costs).

Moulin Blues is being orga­nized on a 100% vol­un­tary basis. We are a foun­da­tion with no (large) event agency involve­ments. This means the fes­ti­val is orga­nized based on pure pas­sion and hob­by, with­out any prof­it motive. Orga­niz­ing this fan­tas­tic blues fes­ti­val and pro­mote the blues is our dri­ve and main goal.
